Our people can write!

One of the great privileges I enjoy as the pastor of Trinity Church is to work alongside so many godly, thoughtful, and articulate congregants. I learn from my sheep in ways too many to rehearse.

Consider, for example, two articles written this week by two of my elder-colleagues. Eric Farkas made the New York Times with his blog essay about family life in the context of a start-up:

Dr. David Innes writes regularly for World Magazine Online. His most recent column develops material we explored not long ago in Genesis 2:4–9; and I can’t imagine a better introduction to this coming week’s sermon on Trinity Sunday:

We have other congregants who were published this week as well. It’s wonderful to see these brethren using their gifts for the Lord. I thank God for them, and for the whole congregation I’m privileged to serve at Trinity!
